Plus size fall fashion at maurices! Look 1 — Originally tried a size 20 in a pair of the 90’s flare jeans, but they were too small - if you try these and have a similar body to mine, I would recommend sizing up 2 sizes! I traded those jeans out with some of my favorite EverFlex Midfit jeans (18W - they fit great on me but if you’re between sizes, size up 1). Added this super cute patchwork sleeve flowy top in a 2X, and some of my favorite ankle boots! Look 2 — 1X in the t-shirt and it fits amazing! I added a fun plaid lightweight flannel in a 2X - it fits well but I think I would prefer a 3X for additional comfort! Paired these with the same EverFlex Midfit jeans and brown ankle boots! Look 3 — Wearing a 2X in this faux wrap maxi skirt and a 2X in the sweater - both fit great! Look 4 — Tried a size 20 in these green utility pants and they were SO close to fitting, but I need one more size up. I recommend going up 2 sizes if you’re shaped like me! Wearing a 2X in the floral top and it fits true to size! Look 5
— Wearing a pair of slim straight jeans here in a size 20. Loving this fun halloween t-shirt (2X) paired with the flannel. Look 6 — Wearing a 2X in the t-shirt! Spanx just sent me this top to review and results are in 👉 I LOVE IT! It’s so soft, also comes in black, and runs a tad generous. I’m wearing the 2X, and I probably would be ok in the 1X, for reference.

These pants are a dream but sadly are sold out… hoping for a restock! In the meantime, I linked a pair from old navy I have and love that are similar, run true to size!

I think that layering it over a simple white tee and leaving it open really leaves an added touch of mystery to this entire look, and I truly love to mix fabrics like this coated skinny jean from Abercrombie in a size 36 (22) and flannel top. it's It’s a mix, but it works! Essential long sleeve is XL, oatmeal duster long cardigan is XXXL but I could do XXL or XL (I’m hoping for a restock but it’s currently sold out). These trousers from Abercrombie are AMAZING. I got them in a size 36 curve love, so if you’re shaped like me and carry most of your thickness in your belly I’d suggest sizing up and going with curve love. They are not see through and they’re beautiful and chic. I added this essential long sleeve tee XL ITS THE perfect base layer or good on its own! Soft and stretchy. This duster has limited availability but if you’re able to get your hands on it, it’s incredible! I have it in the XXXL but could have done the XXL.

If you're looking for something a tad bit more professional, but still want to be comfortable, this is a great look! I cannot recommend these pants enough. They almost have a cooling feel to the fabric! The color of this blazer is beautiful, and is for sure a classic that can be worn for decades. Wearing a pair of Nordstrom NYDJ straight leg pants in a size 18W - run true to size but do run long. Shoes are from Madewell but I linked some similar ones too! I absolutely love this silk machine washable blouse from Spanx, it's incredibly well made! Not only that, but it's SO versatile that you could wear it buttoned up with dress pants, or with a pencil skirt, and wear it professionally! This is a dressed down outfit option, but it still gives you that extra edge of classiness because of the fit and feel of the fabric, and the way it lays. Nothing better than a cozy long sweater and leggings in the Fall! These leggings from Target are definitely not thick enough to wear as regular pants with a shorter top, but for a sweater like this (or any top with a tunic length, really) they are perfect!! Love leggings paired with boots, always. These black boots are from Walmart - For reference, these boots are not wide calf - my calves are 16 inches and there’s not much room beyond that in these, so I linked some wide calf options as well! I thought this pop of color with a kelly green faux croc crossbody purse would be so cute with the black and white!

Day 3/3 of Plus Size Denim Outfits! My last denim look for this series is featuring Amazon pieces! I saw Ashley try these pull-on Lee jeans and wanted to give them a try! I saw some comments about the fit and decided to go with my regular size 28 in these and they were pretty good once I got them on — they fit amazing in the legs but were a bit snug across my low stomach. I am going to order the 30 when they come back in stock to compare! I added this super cute striped collared pullover sweater from Amazon The Drop in a 4X and the fit is perfectly loose and cozy. If you want a more fitted look, I would suggest sizing down! To complete the look, I added my favorite Dream Cloud Chelsea Boots from Lane Bryant! These are still holding up so well a full year later!

Day 2/3 of Plus Size Denim Outfits! Target is absolutely crushing it with the fall fashion lately. Some of my favorite jeans in my closet come from Ava and Viv at Target. These straight leg jeans are great but a bit more rigid than the ones I have had from previous years. They still have some stretch but I had to size up to a 30 in these for a more comfortable fit and all my other pairs from last year are comfortable in a 28, so if you’re shaped like me, keep that in mind! I paired these light wash jeans with a layering tank and an oversized, lightweight flannel shirt also from Ava and Viv - got this in a 4X and it’s perfect! To finish off the look, I grabbed a pair of close-toe clogs — this color is sold out but I linked the taupe color I also plan to grab. I have a bit of a wider foot, so I sized up one size in these for a better fit!
